We are CUPE 1048. We are comprised of approximately 400 members that work at the City Of Prince George, BC. We work in fields that are all the way from Aquatics to Wastewater Treatment.
Our executive is comprised of a President, a Chief Shop Steward, a First Vice President, a Second Vice President, a Sgt At Arms, Records and Privacy Coordinator and a Secretary Treasurer. We also have three Trustees who attend all monthly executive meetings. These people, along with the shop stewards, volunteer many hours of their time to the bettering of the working environment of CUPE 1048 members.
This our brand new 2011 community web page. This site is operated by union dues from our membership. The annual cost of this site is $120.00. It is currently maintained by volunteer time under guidance from our executive members. The main purpose of this site is to inform our membership and increase communications between our members.
